Brian Anderson
Managing Partner & Founding Principal
PROFILE
As Managing Partner of HealthEdge, Brian is responsible for originating deals, overseeing due diligence, financing, and transaction structuring, document negotiation, portfolio company management, fundraising and investor relations, and management of the firm.
Before co-founding the firm, Brian was a partner and managing director of Baird Capital Partners, Robert W. Baird & Company’s private equity business, managing and leading its investments in the healthcare and industrial technology sector. Prior to Baird, Brian began his career at First Chicago Corporation, principally working in their private equity business, First Chicago Equity Capital and First Chicago Venture Capital. Mr. Anderson has been involved in approximately 90 private equity investments, add-on acquisitions, advisory, or financing assignments, collectively representing more than $2.5 billion in transaction value.
Brian received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Marketing, as well as a B.S. in Finance, Operations and Strategic Management and Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program of Boston College.
Mr. Anderson currently serves on the Board of Directors of Alatus Solutions, Corridor, Formulated Solutions, and Westone.
Outside of work Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and children Lance, Ellie, Lauren, Charlie, Graham, and Henry, especially outdoors whenever possible.
