As Managing Partner of HealthEdge, Brian is responsible for originating deals, overseeing due diligence, financing, and transaction structuring, document negotiation, portfolio company management, fundraising and investor relations, and management of the firm.
Before co-founding the firm, Brian was a partner and managing director of Baird Capital Partners, Robert W. Baird & Company’s private equity business, managing and leading its investments in the healthcare and industrial technology sector. Prior to Baird, Brian began his career at First Chicago Corporation, principally working in their private equity business, First Chicago Equity Capital and First Chicago Venture Capital. Mr. Anderson has been involved in approximately 75 private equity investments, add-on acquisitions, advisory, or financing assignments, collectively representing more than $2 billion in transaction value.
Brian received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Marketing, as well as a B.S. in Finance, Operations and Strategic Management and Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program of Boston College.
Mr. Anderson currently serves on the Board of Directors of Enaltus, Formulated Solutions, AMC, and The Corridor Group.
Outside of work Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and children Lance, Ellie, Lauren, Charlie, Graham, and Henry, especially outdoors whenever possible. Before co-founding the firm, Phil served as CEO and Chairman of publicly-traded PlanVista Corporation (formerly HealthPlan Services Corporation) until its merger with ProxyMed, Inc. in 2004. Prior to PlanVista, he was a partner in the law firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson, P.A.
Phil currently serves on the Board of Directors of Data Dimensions, Enaltus, The Corridor Group, Medicine-On-Time, Medical Neurogenetics, and The Columbus Organization, as well as First Priority Tampa Bay, Mary Lee’s House, and Tampa General Hospital.
Phil holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University, a J.D. with honors from the University of Florida, and a B.B.A. in Accounting with honors from the University of Notre Dame. Outside of work, he focuses on his faith and family — with wife Kim and twins Ashley and Lauren.

Before joining the firm, Jeff was a Director and the Chief Operating Officer for Stiefel Laboratories, Inc. Prior to Stiefel Laboratories,he held management positions in Sales and Business Management at Bausch & Lomb Pharmaceuticals. He began his career at SmithKline Beecham as a Professional Sales Representative.
Jeff serves as a Director for Sinclair IS Pharma, Enaltus, AMC, Data Dimensions, Formulated Solutions, Medical Neurogenetics, LLC, Santus, LLC, and The Columbus Group. He also serves as an Independent Director and Compensation Committee Member with the Board of Directors for Anika Therapeutics, Inc.
Jeff received his Bachelor’s degree in General Science – after completing one year of study in Dental Medicine – at the University of Pittsburgh. From 1994 to 2004, he was with Oxford Health Plans, a premier Northeast managed care company where his roles included that of CFO of the company’s largest, $4 billion, division.
