AMC Announces New Chief Executive Officer
CORAL SPRINGS, FLORIDA – July 3, 2018 – HealthEdge Investment Partners, LLC (“HealthEdge”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Buehler as Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Medical Cables, LLC (“AMC”), a medical device company that manufactures and distributes products for the patient monitoring market. Mr. Buehler assumes day-to-day leadership of the company and also joins AMC’s Board of Directors. He succeeds Kim Davis, the previous CEO, who left the company to pursue other opportunities in May.
Mr. Buehler brings over 30 years of healthcare experience in the medical product & device sector to AMC, with a track record of senior executive leadership of high growth, sponsor backed medical device companies. Before joining AMC, Mr. Buehler served as Chief Commercial Officer of RespirTech, a St. Paul, MN based respiratory products company, where he led sales, marketing, product development, customer service and other functions. Prior to that, Mr. Buehler served as Vice President of US Sales at 3M’s Infection Prevention Division, a position he assumed after 3M acquired Arizant Healthcare. In his 18-year tenure at Arizant, Mr. Buehler held various positions including President of Arizant International, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, and Vice President of Marketing. He began his career at Cargill where he advanced through various trading, marketing and management positions.
