Healthcare Industry Veteran Earl DeCarli Joins HealthEdge As Operating Partner

TAMPA, FLORIDA – April 9, 2018 – HealthEdge Investment Partners, LLC (“HealthEdge” or the “Fund”) is pleased to announce that it has added Earl DeCarli to its team of Operating Partners.

Mr. DeCarli currently serves as a Board Director of Fund II portfolio company AMC, a manufacturer and distributor of accessories for the patient monitoring market.  Mr. DeCarli is also a Board Director of two Fund III Companies including Central Florida Inpatient Medicine, one of the largest private hospitalist groups in the state of Florida, and Westone Laboratories, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of custom in-ear communication and hearing protection products. Mr. DeCarli will provide ongoing support in the evaluation of investment opportunities for HealthEdge Fund III.

Mr. DeCarli has 34 years of healthcare industry experience encompassing the medical device, distribution and services sectors across the patient care continuum, with a successful track record in leading businesses through complex start up, turnaround and high-growth cycles as well as U.S. and international corporate business development, multichannel sales & marketing, brand management, service, and manufacturing. 

Prior to joining HealthEdge, Mr. DeCarli was CEO of two middle-market, private equity backed healthcare product and specialty distribution portfolio companies and provided consultant services to a variety of  public, private equity, and family owned businesses.

In addition, Mr. DeCarli served as a Corporate Officer at Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:HRC), where he directed 3 strategic business units and the US service organization supporting over $900 million in revenue and was Group Vice President for Welch Allyn, Inc., where he held global responsibility for two businesses as well as regional management responsibility for Latin America and functional responsibility for corporate M&A and  Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Mr. DeCarli also spent 11 years with Elekta AB (EKTAB), ultimately serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Elekta, Inc. and began his career at Baxter International.
