HealthEdge Announces Promotion of Josh Hamrick to Vice President

Tampa, Florida – January 2, 2019 – HealthEdge Investment Partners (“HealthEdge”), a private equity firm focused exclusively on investing in lower middle market healthcare businesses, is pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Hamrick to Vice President, effective 12/19/2018.

 “Since Josh joined us in 2016 he has become an integral part of our team, expanding his skill set to now leading a variety of components of the investment and portfolio management process.  Mr. Hamrick, who joined the firm as an Associate, is responsible for originating deals, overseeing due diligence, valuation, financing, transaction structuring, add-on acquisitions, and fundraising. 

 Before joining the firm, Josh was most recently an Investment Banking analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he was responsible for deal execution, due diligence, and financial modeling advisory to clients in acquisitions, exclusive sales, recapitalizations and fairness opinions for transactions ranging from $50 million to $500 million.  Prior experience includes positions with Raymond James & Associates, LCG Capital, and the Executive Office of Florida Governor Rick Scott.

 Josh holds a Masters in Finance from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, and a BS in Finance from Florida State University. Outside of work, Josh volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa and enjoys activities including traveling, fishing, golf, and soccer. Josh lives in Tampa with his wife Meggie.
