PROFILE

As a Partner of HealthEdge, Jeff is responsible for originating deals, overseeing due diligence, financing, transaction structuring, document negotiation, portfolio company management, fundraising and investor relations, and management of the firm.

Jeff joined HealthEdge in 2008 as an Operating Partner serving as President, CEO and Chair of Advanced Bio-Technologies/Enaltus and Chair of Woodbury Products, both HealthEdge portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was a Director and the Chief Operating Officer for Stiefel Laboratories, Inc. and President of Glades Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in his career, he held various sales, management, and operations positions at Bausch & Lomb Pharmaceuticals and SmithKline Beecham.

Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors of LifeSync, iTRAC, Legacy-Xspire, and Westone Laboratories, all HealthEdge portfolio companies. Jeff also serves as an Independent Director and Chair with the Board of Directors for Anika Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANIK) and he served as a non-executive Director for Sinclair Pharma plc, a former London AIM stock exchange listed company, prior to the sale of the company to China Grand.

Jeff received his Bachelor’s degree in General Science – after completing one year of study in Dental Medicine – at the University of Pittsburgh. Outside of work, he is an outdoor enthusiast where he enjoys hiking with his dog, Pfeffer, along with adventure travel, wildlife photography, scuba diving, and skiing with his wife Julie.
