HealthEdge Completes Investment in Legacy-Xspire Holdings, LLC
TAMPA, FLORIDA – On December 18, 2019, HealthEdge Investment Partners, LLC (“HealthEdge”), a Tampa, Florida-based private equity fund focused exclusively on healthcare, acquired Legacy-Xspire Holdings, LLC (“Legacy” or the “Company”), a branded and generic pharmaceutical marketing and distribution platform. Legacy-Xspire Holdings, LLC represents the combination of three operating entities, WraSer Pharmaceuticals, Gentex Pharma, and Xpsire Pharma, that market and distribute niche branded and generic prescription products to physicians, pharmacies, wholesale distributors, and specialty pharmaceutical distributors across the United States. The Company’s product portfolio consists primarily of therapies for pain management and steroid responsive disease states. Based in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Legacy has a hybrid insourced/outsourced operating infrastructure that is complemented by vendor relationships for product development, manufacturing, and regulatory and commercial compliance.
