Des Varady Joins HealthEdge As Operating Partner

TAMPA, FLORIDA – March 9, 2020 – HealthEdge Investment Partners, LLC (“HealthEdge” or the “Fund”) is pleased to announce that it has added Des Varady to its team of Operating Partners.

Mr. Varady currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Fund II portfolio company The Corridor Group (“Corridor”), a provider of revenue cycle management, coding, and education services to clients in the home health, hospice and skilled nursing industries.  In addition to his continuing role as CEO of Corridor, Mr. Varady will provide ongoing support in the evaluation of investment opportunities for HealthEdge Fund III.

Passionate about healthcare and technology, Mr. Varady has more than 25 years of leadership experience in strategy, operations, compliance and quality. Working across the healthcare spectrum, he has led successful initiatives at some of the nation’s largest provider and payer organizations, including UnitedHealth, Ascension Health, VITAS and over 25 state Medicaid programs.

Before joining Corridor, Mr. Varady was Chief Executive Officer at HWT, a healthcare data and audit services firm, where he led the turnaround, growth and eventual sale of firm. At Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), Mr. Varady helped take the company public in 1996, and led organic growth and M&A in global leadership roles. He also held leadership positions at Centric Consulting and National Strategies, an international business-to-government consulting firm.

Mr. Varady is a U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
